Your Mission

We are seeking a Full-time Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join our Engineering team. The team is responsible for researching, creating and implementing protocol upgrades for our partners, and developing in-house non-custodial asset management tooling infrastructure solutions.

You will be responsible for researching, coding and implementing features to our partner's protocol and our applications. You will get the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's best and most respected developers.

Responsibilities

• Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, and deploy secure, efficient, and scalable smart contracts on Ethereum-based platforms.
• Vision and Strategy: Thoroughly understand our vision, strategy, roadmap, and products.
• Collaboration: Foster strong relationships within the team and drive innovation by sharing ideas and proposing new approaches to overcome challenges.
• Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and security of smart contracts.
• Code Review and Optimization: Review and optimize existing smart contracts to enhance performance, reduce gas costs, and improve security.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of smart contract code, functionality, and deployment processes.
• Teamwork: Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of smart contracts with the front end and other application components.
• Technical Support and Auditing: Provide technical support for our DeFi products and services, and work with auditors to identify and address vulnerabilities.

About You

• Strong coding skills: Proficiency in Solidity and other languages like JavaScript, Python, and C++
• Understanding of blockchain technology: Ethereum, smart contracts, and other blockchain concepts, as well as experience working with Ethereum-based platforms like Truffle, Hardhat, or Remix
• Security awareness: Familiarity with common smart contract vulnerabilities and best practices for writing secure code
• Testing and debugging skills: Ability to write and execute test cases to ensure the quality and security of the smart contracts
• Problem-solving abilities: Aptitude for analyzing complex problems and designing creative solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Communication skills: Proficiency in conveying technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders
• Teamwork: Ability to work on a globally distributed team with a high degree of ownership and adapt to changing project requirements
• Education and Experience: Preferably a Bachelor in Computer Science or 3-4 years of relevant experience
